Bioscape Tropic Activated Carbon Packs are conveniently designed to fit almost any filtration application, including canister filters, power filters, trickle filters, and other chemical filter applications.

Activated carbon is used to control toxins, odours, discolouration of the water due to medications, tannins and poor water quality.

Activated carbon increases the water quality and improves fish  health by reducing the amount of common aquarium pollutants.

Directions: Carefully rince the carbon bag under running water before use to remove and fine material. For best results begin using if you have bad odour smells/odours, tannins or medication discolouration in the water column. 

Change activated carbon packs every 30 days*, dependant on the amount and frequency of medications, tannins and fish load. Using test kits, monitor the water quality in the aquarium is recommended.
