Built from the ground up for women, the K2 Anthem 105 Zonal BOA W is a mid-flex women's all-mountain boot anchored by K2's TrueForm last and True-Align geometry. This isn't a shrunken men's boot. The shell, cuff, liner, and stance angles were all designed around women's foot and calf shapes, then fitted with the same Zonal BOA closure system as the rest of the Anthem line. The result is a balanced, powerful platform that lets confident intermediate and advanced skiers ski longer without fit fatigue.

Why we like it:

The combination of the TrueForm last and True-Align geometry is the real differentiator. Most women's boots are men's boots with a tighter cuff and a fuzzier liner; the Anthem actually changes the underlying shape and stance angles, and the difference shows up in how naturally you stand on the ski.

Who it's for:

Confident intermediate to advanced women skiers who want a boot that performs at the resort and doesn't need a break-in apology. Average-volume feet are the sweet spot for the 97-100mm last. The 105 flex hits a useful middle ground; stiff enough to drive the ski with intent, forgiving enough that the boot won't punish a less-than-perfect stance.

Highlights:

Zonal BOA closure does the precision work, with two dials wrapping the foot in independent zones for a more even fit than a traditional buckle setup. Underneath the closure system, the Anthem's TrueForm shell is the structural story. K2 redrew the last around women's foot geometry rather than scaling down a men's mold, and the cuff shape follows suit to better match calf anatomy. True-Align Geometry ramps the stance to put women in a more naturally balanced position over the ski. The shell and cuff are both TPU on this model, which means more support and rebound than you'd get from the softer Anthem X tier. The P2 liner is fully heat moldable, with a non-elastic cam strap up top to keep the ankle locked in. GripWalk soles handle the walk to the lift, and forward lean and cuff alignment are both adjustable.

Things to consider:

The 105 flex is genuinely stiff for a women's boot, and skiers transitioning from a softer entry-level boot may want to look at the Anthem X 95 BOA if they're not yet driving the ski with authority. Skiers with very low-volume or very high-volume feet may need bootfitter work to get the Zonal BOA wrap to settle in properly.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The 97-100mm last falls in medium-volume territory, with the Zonal BOA system providing some adjustment range across that span. Stick with your usual mondo size. A proper fitting session with a certified bootfitter is worth scheduling at this performance level so you can take advantage of the heat-mold liner and shell.
